Accreditation & Authorization

The Antioch School is accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC). The DEAC is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a recognized accrediting agency and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

This accreditation means that the Antioch School meets rigorous standards for educational quality, institutional integrity, and student achievement. Our programs undergo regular review to ensure they maintain high academic standards and effectively serve students' educational goals.

Why Accreditation Matters: Accreditation provides several important benefits:

  • Quality Assurance: External review by educational experts confirms that our programs meet high standards

  • Transfer Credit: Credits earned at the Antioch School may be more readily accepted by other institutions

  • Cultural Currency: A degree from an accredited institution carry credibility in professional and certain ministry contexts

  • Student Protections: Accreditation requires institutions to maintain ethical practices and clear policies

Our Commitment to Quality

Accessible and Accredited

While we maintain all necessary accreditation and authorization, our ultimate commitment is to Scripture and to the patterns of the New Testament church. Accreditation provides important external validation, but our real standard is biblical faithfulness and ministry effectiveness.

We're grateful for the opportunity to offer accredited programs, as this serves students who need the recognition and cultural currency that accreditation provides. But we remain focused on our core mission: training leaders who are deeply grounded in Scripture, theologically sound, and equipped to establish healthy, multiplying churches.
